Absolute Beauty

Using a sterile (one time use only) disposable probe a small electric current is placed at the hair root cauterising the blood supply to the follicle.

Without the oxygen or nutrients provided by the blood, the hair dies. Superficial redness of the skin will occur but usually subsides within a couple of hours. Many follicles have multiple hairs, so what may appear to be a quick re-growth is actually another hair entirely.

At Absolute Beauty we can offer diathermy, galvanic and blend methods of electrolysis. If you would prefer a particular method of electrolysis we ask you to mention it to your therapist before the start of any treatment.

There are some skin reactions to be aware of, including redness of the area and very small scabs forming. These scabs are to be left to fall off naturally.

After care advice is given after the treatment and this must be followed to prevent any infection occurring in the area

This treatment is used for permanently and safely removing unwanted hair. Whilst undergoing electrolysis you MUST stop tweezing, shaving and waxing the area to be treated as this will hinder the results and you must have some hair growth to enable this treatment to be carried out.
