Defiant Beauty therapies are a collection of specialist treatments created to be safe for those living with and beyond cancer.

We have a therapist who is qualified and insured to treat those with cancer so there is no longer any worry about being turned down for those much needed treats. All treatments can be adapted to suit each individual client, no matter what your needs.

Oncology Massage:
A gentle massage, adapted to suit your needs. You can have 30 minutes or 60 minutes depending on your comfort levels. We can treat arms, legs, back, scalp and face or any combination you like.

Adapted Indian Head Massage:
This treatment is performed seated and can be carried out over clothes or using oils on the skin.
Indian Head Massage is a form of relaxation massage that focuses on the face, head, neck, shoulders, upper back and upper arms.

If there is a part that you would rather we didn’t treat, that is fine. Every treatment can be adapted to suit you.

A facial to help you maintain or improve your skin.
Your face and scalp (if desired) will be cleansed, exfoliated, spritzed, massaged and hydrated throughout this treatment.

You will leave feeling relaxed and calm.

Hand or Foot Treatment:
Nails are one of the common parts to be affected by chemotherapy and other drugs and people often feel embarrassed to show them off. Hide those hands and feet no more!

Your nails will be filed and shaped, your skin and nails re-hydrated with fabulous products and your nails painted whatever colour you like!

While life was crazy with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, sickness, tiredness and hair loss, an hour’s massage was a bit of a lifeline to normality. It was time for me to relax and not have to think about the madness of it all for a while.
Moments or quietness and a bit of pampering helped me through a very tricky time. That was 3 years ago, and I’ve been coming once a month ever since.
